In Essential, you are able to copy workpapers from the prior year quickly and simply based on where a document previously sat.

The guide below will show you have to do this.

1. From the Trial Balance, locate the accounts that a supporting document was previously assigned to.
2. Click the three dots found to the right of the account:
   
3. Select Copy from Prior Year:
   
4. Any document previously associated with the account will then show in the pop-up:
   
5. Tick any documents that you need then press Copy Workpapers:
   

    6. The document will then successfully copy into your Trial Balance:
