When creating a custom template for your firm, there is also the feature to create custom Sign-off roles, This can be done via 2 areas within the firm template portal.
Area 1 - Main Page Menu
If you move your cursor over a specific template and navigate to the right-hand side, youll see 3 dots appear. By clicking on those 3 dots youll be met by 2 options:
- Edit Statuses
- Edit Sign Offs
Note: Any changes made here will also be reflected in your created custom template.
Upon clicking Edit Sign Offs, you'll be met with the Edit File Sign-Offs tab. From there you can create custom sign-offs. Once finished, simply click close for them to be active.
Area 2 - Within The Firm Template
Whilst creating a custom template, click on the 'My Templates' dropdown menu within the workpaper index
Again youll be met by 2 options:
- Edit Statuses
- Edit Sign Offs
Upon clicking Edit Sign Offs, you'll be met with the Edit File Sign-Offs tab. From there you can create custom sign-offs. Once finished, simply click close for them to be active.
File Sign-Offs tab Key
- 3 Lines - Allows you to move the statuses around via drag and drop;
- Show in WPI Tickbox - Select a maximum of 2 Sign-offs which can be displayed in the Working Paper Index
- Pencil Icon - This allows you to edit the name of existing statuses
- Bin - Allows you to delete an existing Sign-Off.
NOTE: Please note that you can change your sign-offs at any point within a custom template. It won't impact old files created with the template; new files created with the custom template will present with the updated / new sign-offs within the file.
