To optimise our Audit functionality and support effective compliance, we have introduced the Planning Lockdown feature.
Before Planning Lockdown can be used, the severity level must first be configured. See here for more information
High Severity
When High Severity is enabled, the following behaviour will apply upon file creation:
The B – Planning folder and the PF – Permanent Files folder will be active and accessible.
All other folders will appear greyed out and will be inaccessible.
Access to the restricted folders will remain locked until one of the following conditions is met:
All workpapers within the B – Planning folder are marked as completed,
The B – Planning folder itself is marked as completed, or
Planning Lockdown is overridden.
Note: High Severity - Allows Override Prompt & Giving a reason as to why it's being overridden is mandatory
Planning Overide
To override the Planning Lockdown, attempt to access any restricted area of the file. A warning prompt will appear, requiring confirmation and a reason for the override.
Note: The Type field is case-sensitive, so you must enter UNLOCK (not Unlock).
Once Planning Lockdown has been overridden, the file will become fully accessible to the user. The following details will appear in the Activity Feed:
The staff member who overrode Planning Lockdown
The reason provided
The date and time of the override
It is important to note that once Planning Lockdown has been overridden, the file cannot be re-locked and will remain unlocked.
However, when the file is rolled forward, the newly created file will reflect the Planning Lockdown severity level selected by the firm.
