Upon accessing the SMSF Dashboard, users will be directed to the main landing page, which provides a comprehensive overview of key activities.

The SMSF Dashboard is split into 3 sections: Clients, Audits In Progress and Audits Completed

The 'Clients' section of the dashboard contains the following key components:

Clients 

Clicking the number displayed under the 'Clients' heading will navigate users to an unfiltered view of all files associated with the external firm they have logged into.

Financial Year

The financial year will always default to the current fiscal year and displays, this will show the specific year in the 'Clients' part of the dashboard and all audits in progress in the middle section showing all the ongoing audits.

Examples:

Files dated July 1st 2025 - June 29th 2026 would show as FY2025 & Audit in Progress

Files dated on or after 30th June 2024 should automatically be classified as FY2024 & Audit in Progress.

Files dated before 30th June 2024 should automatically be classified as FY2023 & Audit in Progress.

Selecting a different financial year will automatically update the dashboard to display only the relevant data for the chosen period.

Audit Status Filters

The SMSF Dashboard allows users to quickly filter audits based on their status.

To Be Sent

Clicking the number under the 'To Be Sent' heading directs users to the SMSF Clients page with the 'To Be Sent' filter pre-applied. This view displays all files that have not yet been started for the logged-in external firm.

Note: Files with the Default Status "Status not set” or files with the status 'Not Yet Started' set will be found here

In Progress 

Clicking the number under the 'In Progress' heading directs users to the SMSF Clients page with the 'In Progress' filter pre-applied. This view highlights all active files for the logged-in external firm.

Note: Files with any status other than the Default Status "Status not set”, the statuses 'Not Yet Started' or "Completed" and that have not been "Signed-off" will be found here

Completed

Clicking the number under the 'Completed' heading directs users to the SMSF Clients page with the 'Completed' filter pre-applied. This view displays all finalized audits for the logged-in external firm.

Note: Files with the status 'Completed' set or which have been "Signed-off" will be found here

By utilising these filters and dashboard functionalities, users can efficiently manage their SMSF audit workflow with ease and precision.
